Scopes come and go, and I have had my fair share over the years. Zeiss remains my favourite, but I also cherish my 10” f5 newtonion. It is perfect for those quick and dirty looks, but also very suitable for planetary viewing. More recently a Denkmeier bino viewer has been used, and in the dob it is superb.
Lately for imaging I have been trying a a home made astrograph, an 8" f4 newt. Wider field, and slightly more user friendly on the mount.
