Equipment - Accessories
Anything that isn't in the other sections is in here. Mainly the accessories I use most are eyepieces. Again I have tried a fair share of them. I currently have a complete set of Zeiss orthos in the .96” size. Beautiful. In conjuction with these I have the Huygens as well, more as collection pieces. Filters, zenith prisms, a Barlow, and turret all seem necessary when you collect Zeiss.
I never thought I would own one, but a while back I bought a Denkmeier Bino Viewer. I am hooked, and find, as most who try it do, that the view through two eyes is far superior to that in cyclops mode. To get me started I used a pair of Celestron 20mm Erfles. For visual use a pair of Televues, a 13mm T6, and a 24mm Panoptic in the Zeiss and the dob.
